Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in social sciences, education or a degree or equivalent sector of experience, with at least 03 years of work experience. Experience in programs implementation with international and/or local NGOs or other relevant organizations. Strong communication skills, being an excellent planner and organizer, committed to high quality work and team accomplishment, demonstrated attention to details, ability to follow procedures, to meet deadlines and to work independently and cooperatively with team members is required. Fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic, excellent writing and reporting skills are also required. Must be proficient in computers especially Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.

Job Description:

Under supervision of Emergency Program Coordinator, Emergency Program Officer will provide day-to-day oversight of all aspects of program implementation and its wide range of activities. The Emergency Program Officer will make sure that all activities are delivered according to the work plan and implementation strategies. Successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot problems and provide any necessary support to the field-based staff and any other team member. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with distribution partners, ensuring transparent beneficiary targeting, smooth and timely distribution of food and non-food items. S/he is an effective communicator and is able to work with a diverse team to achieve common objectives.
