Job Requirements:
A BA/BSc degree (preferred) in social sciences, education or a degree or equivalent sector of experience, with at-least 01 year of experience in the social or development sector particularly in Monitoring and Evaluation. Experience in community work and/or experience in project implementation in MEL, preferably with an NGO; previous experience in using qualitative data collection methods will be an asset. Willingness and ability to perform field work. Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel, as well as with project partners and community members. Preferred to be good in written and spoken English. Must have good computer skills especially Excel, Word, Facebook, Skype or any other social media tools. Experience in mobile data collection is an added value.
Job Description:
Under the supervision of Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Officer, MEL Assistants will be responsible for the monitoring of project activities at project sites. These activities include: Participants verification, post distribution monitoring, capacity building of monitors and partners, conducting focus group discussions, key informant interviews and using other qualitative data collection tools, document success stories, research, assessment, submitting routine reports. The person will be part of PaQ team and will be in close coordination with the partner organizations and with the organization field team.
