Job Requirements:

Part 1: Essential Criteria:

  1. a) Education:
  • Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science / IT; Master`s degree will be an advantage.
  1. b) Work Experience:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in relevant fields, preferably with NGOs / INGOs.
  • Good command of English and Arabic (written & spoken).
  1. c) Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in MS Excel and MS Access.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in data visualization tools (Power BI)
  • Excellent knowledge in data collection tools (ONA, and CommCare).
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment and in meeting deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to take initiative and to be flexible depending on changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willing to travel to the field sites.
  • Covering the gaps in the field as needed.
  • Experience of working in medical reporting will be an added.

Part 2: Desirable Criteria:

  • Working experience with International NGOs or similar set-up.
  • Experience of working in medical reporting or will be an added.
  • Knowledge of health projects, and their indicators.

Job Description:

Health Data Responsibilities

  • Data Collection, data cleaning and compilation in a timely manner from MMUs and Partners’ clinics regarding General Morbidity, Reproductive Health, Mental Health, Children Health and Community Health to be entered into database.
  • Using visualization tools for Analyze collected data and convert it into value added information according to project indicators.
  • Review and refine data collection and verification processes and procedures to ensure that all desirable elements of data are captured by the system.
  • Review and analyze data to graphically present utilization trends based on monitoring indicators.
  • Review and analyze medical stocks consumption, stocks in hand and closely coordinate with Health Coordinator, Health Manager and Pharmacist in process of preparation for the next supplies order based on the needs.
  • Perform other relevant tasks as required in support of processes for strengthening data analysis.
  • Produce reports for specific needs aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of the decision-making protocols.
  • Provide support to report writing related to data.

Project Support Responsibilities

  • Health Pharmacist in physically verification of the project medical stocks at the time of delivery at warehouse and distribution to MMUs on weekly basis and to clinics on monthly basis to keep their track and report any discrepancy.
  • Ensure proper documentation both hard and soft of the project data reports and commodities as per organization standards.
  • Perform other tasks/duties assigned by supervisor in accordance to the organization policies and procedures.
