Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Practical experience in cleaning/cooking, calm and organized personality
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Cooking and Cleaning NGO, LNGO and CO.
  • Language – ARABIC and English (preferable)
  • Reading skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to any situation.
  • Willingness to work under tight deadlines.
  • Physically fit and able to cope with demands of unusual working hours and difficult environments and situations.
  • Committed, honest and eager to learn.
  • Primary education
  • The ability to complete needed tasks without direct supervision
  • Basic English language knowledge is desirable.

Job Description:

  • To thoroughly clean all office / guesthouse areas, with the main objective of promoting living conditions by having excellent standards.
  • Coordinate with the line manager and the logistics department to order and maintain stock of cleaning materials and supplies, for both the office and the guesthouse.
  • Cleaning carpets and furnishings.
  • Polish all chairs, desks, tables, all cabinets and shelves, and clean the interior of the cupboards.
  • Polishing filing cabinets / stationery / stickers.
  • Clean, disinfect / sterilize all latrines / bathrooms / balconies + sidewalk / front garden + rear.
  • Cleaning windows, glass cutters and mirrors.
  • Implement the instructions provided by the Department, the Management Team and the Head of Office.
  • Emptying garbage and replacing the lining of garbage bins, cleaning and cleaning surfaces.
  • Wash / disinfection dishes, crockery, cups, kitchenware, and prepare tea and coffee for office / guests and staff.
  • Identify and report potential reforms.
  • Change all beds sheets.
  • Cooking for staff on a daily basis.
  • Support to other tasks in and around facilities as requested by line manager.
