Job Requirements:
Essential
University degree in Education.
Ability to travel around NES.
Former NGO work experience is required.
Knowledge of Education in Emergencies, INEE minimum standards, Child Protection and Prevention of Gender Based Violence minimum standards.
Excellent training and facilitation skills.
Knowledge of basic principles of teaching, positive discipline, children’s development and learning.
Experience in working with children, in social work and outreach activities, including psychosocial support and social emotional learning.
Excellent interpersonal, nonviolent communication and listening skills.
Motivation and energy, pro-active and willing to share and discuss ideas.
Commitment to humanitarian principles and values.
Commitment to equal opportunity and gender practices.
Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.
Ability to maintain the highest degree of discretion.
Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Job Description:
Capacity building for formal school teachers
Delivering TICC (teachers in crises context) training to the formal schoolteachers and NFE centres facilitators in NES.
Prepare all training materials including trainers and teachers kits that will be used during the TiCC teacher trainings.
Lead and deliver training sessions to formal schoolteachers in rehabilitated schools in Raqqa, Tabqa, Dieirazor, Minbij and Hasaka on Teachers in crisis context and teachers preparedness ensuring the recording and follow up on teachers’ attendance.
Prepare and conduct pre and post-assessments for the teacher trainings.
Follow up on teaching outcomes ensuring additional mentoring sessions and teacher learning circles being conducted with formal schoolteachers.
Support NFE centres and facilitators
In coordination with the education assistance in Raqqa, Tabqa , Menbij , Deirzor and Hasaka participate in training and coaching activities for the NFE facilitators and providing regular feedbacks.
Support in the facilitation of the facilitators learning circles in coordination with the NFE assistants and officers.
Support in the classroom observations in coordination with the education assistants and officers.
