متطلبات العمل:
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a certificate related to the implementation of food security and livelihood projects.
2 years of experience in the related field (desirable)
Roving position between Derik & Hassakah
Highly motivated individual who works well independently
Strong oral and written communication skills and a desire to improve.
Computer literate with abilities in Microsoft Office.
Able to identify, analyze and solve problems and able to accept responsibility and work without supervision.
Good in English and Arabic/Kurdish
الوصف الوظيفي:
Organizing and arranging different stages of small Farmer crops and garden installation and maintenance.
Supervising the quality control on materials and works and verifying their compliance with specifications.
Determination of the types of fertilizer to be used, methods of giving, quantities, and dates of addition.
Determining the type of insect and pathogenic infections of plants and the quality and concentration of the pesticides needed to combat them.
Design and oversee implementation of homestead vegetable gardens and small Farmer crops.
Design and oversee implementation of agricultural structures, drip irrigation systems.
Organize training workshops for local people regarding farming basics and techniques.
Provide technical support in writing documents including reports, memos, and e-mails.
Assist with data collection efforts.
Monitor program quality and assist in utilizing appropriate monitoring tools.
Develop relevant program materials and documents.
Coordinate with other Blumont staff through regular meetings.
Submit regular reports to supervisor.
Any other program related duties to ensure program success.
