Position: Food security program officer for nutrition

Duty station: Raqqa or Manbij with frequent travel all over NES

Line Manager: food security team leader

Main tasks:

Support the identification of beneficiaries and suitable sites/locations, design, and implementation of food security and nutrition program activities.
Led the nutrition awareness team and supervised the activities of conducting group counseling.
Food security program officer for nutrition will be the line manager for food security outreach assistants in NES.
Responsible for evaluating performance, drafting and implementing capacity building plan for outreach assistants, and any participant-activated nutrition awareness activities (FSE facilitators, FSE filed staff, etc).
Ensure that a weekly schedule of activities is developed with the FS team leader, including individual sessions, groups sessions, outreach in the community,
Plan, develop, and facilitate training programs on nutrition-specific topics with the incorporation of diversified teaching methods including household training, practical demonstrations, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Collaborate with other team members in developing training materials,
Identify the training needs through door-to-door monitoring and assessments.
Identify and organize training for staff on related topics
Participate in meetings organized by stakeholders related to Nutrition
Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the nutrition awareness implementation.
Participate and coordinate in conducting needs assessments and other surveys
Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program impact
Provide the Program Manager / Team leader with the information required for periodic reporting on activities.
Informing the FS team leader about any challenges, difficulties, and concerns in the implementation of activities or issues in the social context.
Follow up on adherence to basic protection standards during activities.
Monitor community activities to ensure implementation is according to plan.
Responsible for collecting, checking, and archiving related documents to nutrition awareness (beneficiary’s attendance sheets, or any other related docs).
Update the nutrition awareness folder on CvT platforms on a weekly basis
Update all nutrition awareness trackers on a weekly basis.
Daily and weekly reporting on awareness activities.
Draft monthly report and share it with the LM to review
Draft the 4Ws and 5Ws and share them with LM and Nutrition WG.

Other

Ensures security and safety rules are observed in the field by the team members.
Other tasks as assigned by the line manager

Other responsibilities:

Other tasks assigned by the employee’s Line Manager corresponding to the actual needs of the department.
Substitute relevant colleagues (fully or partially) during their absence when assigned by Line Manager.
Understand and adhere to the mission’s National Staff Handbook, CvT Code of Conduct, CvT Key Policies, and relevant guidelines.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and intermediate written and spoken English.
Should have good communication skills and the ability to send awareness messages, and train teams in the Nutrition aspects.
Bachelor’s degree in any medical studies in the field of nutrition, Pharmacy, nutrition technology, food engineering, or nutrition is preferred, or any other related field.
Experience working in an NGO and 1-2 years of work experience, At least 6 months of previous food assistance-related experience.
Should have good experience in humanitarian work and emergency response.

المنصب: مسؤول برنامج الأمن الغذائي للتغذية

مركز العمل: الرقة أو منبج مع السفر المتكرر في جميع أنحاء شمال شرق سوريا

المدير المباشر: قائد فريق الأمن الغذائي

المهام الرئيسية:

دعم تحديد المستفيدين والمواقع / المواقع المناسبة، وتصميم وتنفيذ أنشطة برنامج الأمن الغذائي والتغذية.
قيادة فريق التوعية التغذوية والإشراف على أنشطة إجراء الاستشارات الجماعية.
سيكون مسؤول برنامج الأمن الغذائي للتغذية هو المدير المباشر لمساعدي التوعية في مجال الأمن الغذائي في شمال شرق سوريا.
مسؤول عن تقييم الأداء وصياغة وتنفيذ خطة بناء القدرات لمساعدي التوعية وأي أنشطة للتوعية التغذوية التي ينشطها المشاركون (ميسرو فريق الامن الغذائي وموظفو فريق الامن الغذائي، إلخ).
التأكد من وضع جدول أسبوعي للأنشطة مع قائد فريق الامن الغذائي، بما في ذلك الجلسات الفردية وجلسات المجموعات والتواصل في المجتمع،
تخطيط وتطوير وتسهيل برامج التدريب على موضوعات خاصة بالتغذية مع دمج أساليب التدريس المتنوعة بما في ذلك التدريب المنزلي والعروض التوضيحية العملية والاجتماعات والمؤتمرات وورش العمل.
التعاون مع أعضاء الفريق الآخرين في تطوير المواد التدريبية،
تحديد الاحتياجات التدريبية من خلال المراقبة وتقييمات من باب إلى الباب.
تحديد وتنظيم دورات تدريبية للموظفين حول الموضوعات ذات الصلة
المشاركة في الاجتماعات التي ينظمها أصحاب المصلحة المتعلقة بالتغذية
إجراء مراقبة وتقييم تنفيذ التوعية التغذوية.
المشاركة والتنسيق في إجراء تقييمات الاحتياجات والاستطلاعات الأخرى
رصد وتقييم وتسجيل أنشطة التدريب وتأثير البرنامج
تزويد “مدير البرنامج” / “قائد الفريق” بالمعلومات المطلوبة لإعداد التقارير الدورية عن الأنشطة.
إبلاغ قائد فريق الامن الغذائي بأي تحديات وصعوبات واهتمامات في تنفيذ الأنشطة أو القضايا في السياق الاجتماعي.
متابعة الالتزام بمعايير الحماية الأساسية أثناء الأنشطة.
مراقبة أنشطة المجتمع لضمان التنفيذ وفقًا للخطة.
مسؤول عن جمع وفحص وأرشفة المستندات ذات الصلة بالتوعية التغذوية (أوراق حضور المستفيد أو أي مستندات أخرى ذات صلة).
القيام بتحديث مجلد التوعية التغذوية على منصات CvT على أساس أسبوعي
القيام بتحديث جميع أدوات تتبع الوعي الغذائي على أساس أسبوعي.
تقارير يومية وأسبوعية عن أنشطة التوعية.
صياغة تقرير شهري ومشاركته مع المدير المباشر لمراجعته
القيام بإعداد مسودات تقارير 4Ws و5Ws ومشاركتها مع المدير المباشر ومجموعة العمل التغذوية.

مهام أخرى

يضمن مراعاة قواعد الأمن والسلامة في الميدان من قبل أعضاء الفريق.
مهام أخرى يكلفه بها المدير المباشر

المهام الأخرى المعينة من قبل المدير المباشر للموظف والتي تتوافق مع الاحتياجات الفعلية للإدارة.
استبدال الزملاء المعنيين (كليًا أو جزئيًا) أثناء غيابهم عند تعيينهم من قبل المدير المباشر.
فهم والالتزام بدليل الموظفين الوطنيين للبعثة، ومدونة قواعد سلوك CvT، والسياسات الأساسية ل CvT، والمبادئ التوجيهية ذات الصلة.

المؤهلات والمهارات المفضلة:

يجيد اللغة العربية كتابةً وتحدثاً والإنجليزية الوسيطة كتابةً وتحدثًا.
يجب أن يتمتع بمهارات اتصال جيدة والقدرة على إرسال رسائل توعوية وتدريب الفرق في الجوانب التغذوية.
يفضل الحصول على درجة البكالوريوس في أي دراسات طبية في مجال التغذية أو الصيدلة أو تكنولوجيا التغذية أو هندسة الأغذية أو التغذية، أو أي مجال آخر ذي صلة.
خبرة في العمل في منظمة غير حكومية و1-2 سنوات من الخبرة العملية، على الأقل 6 أشهر من الخبرة السابقة المتعلقة بالمساعدة الغذائية.
يجب أن يكون لديه خبرة جيدة في العمل الإنساني والاستجابة لحالات الطوارئ.
